Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe your style of photography?
Modern, artistic and intimate.  I try not to be very intrusive during the course of the wedding day, so clients have described my shooting style as “fly-on-the-wall” or “ninja-like.”  However I do understand the importance of posed formal portraits, so I like to capture a mixture of both.

Do you travel, and if so what are your rates?
Yes, I do travel.  Travel rates are very simple and straight forward. If airfare, hotel and car rental are required, you’ll just reimburse me for those costs.  But being a Priceline ninja, I tend to keep travel costs at a minimum.
Do you work with other photographers?
I work with a group of 2-3 second shooters, so at least two shooters (myself included) will be present on the wedding day.
Do you charge different rates for smaller wedding events or less guests?
Since covering a smaller event would still require us to block off a date, our pricing is fixed.    However flexible pricing IS available for multi-day weddings, so you’ll get the most bang for your buck by booking multiple events together.
We prefer not to have our photos online, but we see that you post pictures from events on your blog.  Do we have to pay extra to keep our photographs private?
You do NOT have to pay extra to keep your photographs private.  We like to respect the privacy of our couples and their families/friends.  If you aren’t comfortable with your photos being online, they won’t be posted on our blog, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.   Also since our photos aren’t being outsourced for editing/color-correction, you can rest assured that your privacy is being maintained.

We want to book you!  What’s the next step?
A signed contract + 25% of the total package cost is required to book your date.  Both the contract and invoice payments can be taken care of online for your convenience.  Dates are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis and are only held after a retainer is recieved.  The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your big day.
How long does it take to get our photos/albums?
You will have your photos within 2 months of your event.  Albums generally take up to 2 months for printing/delivery.
Are we supposed to feed you at the wedding?
It would be lovely for you to include a vendor meal, but we’d be happy with just a 15 minute break during dinner to sneak in some of our own snacks.  Please note that if you’d like us to come to the event a little earlier or stay a little later, we can be easily bribed with food.:)
