-My name is Uzma, but over the years my nicknames have ranged from Uzy and Ooze to Fuzbazzle-ali-akbar-shabbaz-da. No, I’m not making these up. Most recently my name has been merged with my husband’s to create Uzbin, hence Uzbin Photography (we figured Fuzbazzle-ali-akbar-shabbaz-da might not fit on a business card).

-I’ve had a passion for photography ever since I stepped into a darkroom over 10 years ago. Yes, a dark room…remember those?

-I am a Pakistani-American born in the North, raised in the South and married to a Bangladeshi. Oftentimes you can find me eating samosas and chutney with a glass of sweet tea.

-I’ve organized 4 wedding events in the past few years, so trust me. I understand how you guys feel while you’re getting ready for your own.

-Aside from photography, I have a very close relationship food. Ask me about my foodie happy dance.
